If you are staying at the Albergue at Outerio an excellent place to eat is the Pazo de Galegos which is about a 10 mins walk away (downhill). The food is excellent and the portions are substantial, starting at very reasonable prices. The house is a lovely old mansion and well worth a visit.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
That's worth knowing - would save lugging food up from the supermercado in Ponte Ulla.

The market delivers for an order over 20€.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Good to know! We also got food delivered from the supermarket (someone took a taxi to bring it back to the albergue). Perhaps it is better this year - but there was almost nothing to cook or eat with in terms of utensils or pots.... If I were going to have dinner in the albergue again - it would be picnic food. A restaurant close by also a great option!

An option we took was to stay at Albergue O Cruceiro in Ponte Ulla, very reasonable rates for pilgrims, 10e I think, and a bar/restaurant down stairs.
Plus staying there only adds 4 Km to the next day into SdeC.
Regards
George

We stayed there recently; there were pots, plates, glasses, cups and cutlery.
