Late April
Currently in Fromista about 32 miles from the halfway point of the Frances!
Did approx 22 miles today. Going to have a shorter day tomorrow. Life is great on the Camino for this Pilgrim! Only 1 rain day but mornings have been pretty chilly. Mid 40's F. Glad I brought my hat and gloves!
Meeting lots of great pilgrims and seeing some beautiful scenery along the way.
Beun Camino!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Any trouble finding beds? I'm hearing from some people that they are finding it difficult in the first 2 weeks before Burgos, but you never know if they are just new to the Camino and don't know how to navigate.

I haven't booked ahead at all and have gotten a bed everytime I've walked into town. There is a lot of panic happening concerning beds though. Ive listened to people at the albergues and many are spending their time calling ahead. I think, in my case anyway, it's been unnecessary. I think people just need to relax and trust the Camino!

I’m the other side of Burgos and beds are getting harder to find. I don’t think you can rely on rocking up on the day, at main stage posts at least. Book ahead is my advice.

Wow that’s the spirit! Keep on soaking in every day!!!!

When mom and I went through Castrojeriz and Frómista in March we had snow, sleet and powerful winds but even still there was much beauty to be found in every day!

Buen camino!
