I have been back from my Camino now for close on 3 weeks and still find myself 'very busy with the Camino' in my mind (if you know what I mean?) Today I was thinking about a 20 something lady I met on the 16th October who was starting out from Finisterre on her way to Muxia, but at about 2.30 in the afternoon, and in pouring rain. We met on the outskirts of Finisterre as she was standing at the side of the road looking completely lost. We chatted and I explained to her the way I had just walked, giving her a heads up about the signs and markings to look out for. Because of the time I was concerned about her thinking she would be able to make it to Muxia and in fact tried to get her to stay in Finisterre and rather walk in the morning of the next day. But she was adamant about walking then, so I suggested she play it safe and head for Lires and overnight there. She said she would as she was 3 months pregnant and had her baby to consider as well. This whole long story is because I was wondering today how it went with her (the neurotic mother in me) .... any chance anyone of you know who I am talking about and how she was?
And isn't it interesting how random things / situations trigger memories of the Camino - leading to a total loss of time :) while I stop to ponder / reminisce /day-dream about it all. :) :)
