Hi fellow pilgrims anyone starting Camino on May 1st from St Jean and if so any idea what the weather may be like? On a Ryan Air flight from Dublin to Biarritz 31st April. Catch a train from Bayonne to St Jean Pied de Port. Where can I purchase rail tickets and how long is the journey. I wonder how many others have same travel arrangements.
This is my first Camino. Can one get by with little or no Spanish.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Hi James. We may see you on our travels. My friend and I are starting from Roncesvalles on the 29th. We are both from Toronto. My first time, my friend's 4th. I can't wait and have been planning this for a year. Will look out for you. Buen Camino!

Think I will have to move it a bit to get over that mountain so as to catch you and your friend as you have a 2 day and 26km head start on me. Have been planning this for a year too and am really looking forward to the Camino experience. Hopefully we will meet and if not as they say......

Buen Camino ! :|

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I started out from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port on 1 May. It turned out to be an unforgetable day. Above 1,000 m or so it snowed, catching many people unprepared. Later that day "many" walkers were...
And another attempt looms, to buy a decent Poncho after trying and failing in the previous two likely towns. Anyone know where an Altos or similar might be bought in Leon, please? 😁
