Hi Tara! Just go! If you go with a group that you have to stick with it may just cause moaning and angst. You'll meet your own group when you start walking (or even before) but you won't have any obligation to stay with them if your pace/interests etc are different. Buen Camino!

Apart from keeping an "eye out" here on the forum you might consider contacting The Confraternity of Saint James in London, I think they have open days & practical pilgrim days, you might meet someone there.

But as tyrrek mentioned don't be deterred from going solo, I think you'll soon find your group along the way. Meanwhile, dream and plan here on the forum, ask questions if you can't find the answers.
