The Anzacs have been in my thoughts. There are red poppies growing at this time in Spain - always a good reminder. I am walking alone on Vdlp. Raining here in Galisteo.

ANZAC DAY 25/4/2019 Vdlp
I arrived Carcoboso early. Only a short day.
After all, It’s Anzac Day
I took a pic en route today with the wonderful iconic Poppy and behind a flock of merinos.
I stopped and spent a few minutes there
(I will). WE WILL REMEMBER THEM

The 2nd pic has a tiny house. I thought: Wow., just the size for me.

That's lovely Annie. I haven't walked the Camino at this time of year but if I had I would like to have found a way to honour the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
