Appalachian Trail Online Community

Hey Everyone,

I recently completed the Camino frances and absolutely loved it. Amazing experience and I can see myself returning once I am much older... but for now there are more trails I want to see in 2017.

Does anyone have experience or know of an online community much like this for the Appalachian trail?

I would log onto FB and do a search on AT- you never know what might come up. Likewise, Google AT Forum to see what's out there.

I have a friend that walked it after every deployment, never mentioned a site like this one, he is currently getting married in Thailand if your interested I can PM his email but give him a month or so.

There is a really good facebook group that focuses on AT section hikers -- Appalachian Trail Section Hikers -- check that out (not really focused on through hikers, though).
