Bag transport to parochial albergue

Do the parochial or community albergues accept bag transfers? I have been carrying my pack first 200 miles, but now have tendinitis. I am hoping to continue walking after some rest days and just carrying what I need for the day and shipping the rest. I have a few reservations down the road at parochial albuergues so would like to know if I need to look at other options.

Ideal pocket guides for during and after your Camino. Each weighs just 40g (1.4 oz).

I know the albergue where we will work this summer in Canfranc says it does not accept pilgrims who are shipping their bags. Check the Gronze.com site to see if there is anything listed in the comments for the albergues you are considering.

Thanks all. That’s what I thought. I’ll make other arrangements.

A lot of smaller community and parroquial albergues don't take reservations or even have the infrastructure to do so. Many don't even have a phone and some don't have wifi. Again check the Gronze.com for comments to that effect. In at least one case the phone even goes to the city offices rather than the albergue.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Just call the transport service the night before and confirm pickup and delivery. They'll let you know if there are issues.
