Thank you I will check them out.

Correos, is excellent, and overall less expensive. If you wish, you can pay a flat rate, regardless of how many stops you make. This is especially an advantage if you want to take shorter days, and thus overnight more frequently. Second choice is Caminofacil.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

How do you go about organising this? I’ll start in Burgos. Do I do it through the hotel I’m staying at?

No. Go to Correos.com and paq mochilla. If you know where you will stay in advance you can put those accommodations into the computer. You can also pay the flat fee, then put in the destinations before 8pm the night before you walk.

You can print out your itinerary if you book in advance.

Would you recommend Jacotrans or Correos for baggage transfer on the Camino Frances?
I also prefer CaminoFacil. I have been using them for luggage transfers and for taxi service for the past eight years and there has never been even one mistake.

Just go to the nearest post office Oficina de Correos (they are all over) and drop your luggage, backpack, or whatever you need to send. They also have different size boxes where you can place what you dont need or need to move along the camino. You decide where and when to pick your things up. They can store them for you. Best service

Correos doesn't mention SJPDP or Orisson in their service area. I can't tell if Caminofacil or Jacotrans serve those two towns.....can anyone confirm that we will be able to get baggage transfer between SJPDP and Orisson, and then Orisson to Roncesvalles? Many thanks!

SJPdP and Orisson (and Borda) are served by Express Bourricot. In addition to luggage transfer, they also provide taxi service. I used Caminofacil from Roncesvalles onward. Both services worked perfectly for me!

Thank you for this! Do I need to arrange in advance for transport with Express Bourricot? I'm pretty sure the others (caminofacil, correas, etc) can be arranged on the spot at the albergue/hotel.
