Bayonne to StJPdP on a Sunday

I'm due to arrive in Biarritz at 14.15 on Sunday 30th August, I reckon that I'll be clear of the airport by 15.15 and, hopefully, into Bayonne by around 16.00. Does anyone have any experience of getting to
St J on a Sunday afternoon? The train timetable doesn't appear to have been issued yet for that date and I'd like to make my reservations for Esprit du Chemin. I think I may have to spend the Sunday night in Bayonne, travel to St J on the Monday and start walking on the Tuesday, any thoughts please?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I'm not sure if the bus from the airport has as frequent a route on Sunday as it does the other days of the week. There is an information desk at the airport that has all kinds of information for pilgrims, which includes the bus schedule. If you are pressed for time & want to take the train that day to SJP, I would take a taxi to the train station. Yes it costs more, but will only be 10-15 minutes as opposed to almost an hour. :)

The airport is quite small & shouldn't take you an hour to clear. :) Depending upon how soon you get your bags, I'd say you'll be out of there by 14:30. ;)

If you're getting into Biarritz after all the trains for SJP have come & gone, stay at the Paris-Madrid hotel close by the station & take the early train into SJP. From there you can either start walking to Hunto or Orisson OR spend a day in SJP getting your gear together & ready for the next day.

As it happens, I will be arriving in Spain on 8/30 (I hope), & getting to Bayonne via San Sebastian. My camino will most likely start on 9/1. I also hope to score a spot at L'Espirit. :)

Thank you!

Maybe we'll chat over dinner on the Monday evening then? I'm planning on taking two days to walk to Roncesvalles so that's probably the last you'll see of me anyway! 'Start slow and get slower' is my motto for the trip :D

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
