Next Camino - Francés from SJPP (May 2023)
Does anyone know if there are any bars between Belorado and San Juan de Ortega? We are looking for breakfast options (ie coffee and tortilla). There appears to be a couple of places in Villafranca Montes de Oca, but is there anything before that (eg Tosantos or Espinosa del Camino)?

For whatever reason I dont have any records of having meals in either of the places (it is possible that I subsided on something I prepared; i.e. hard-bolied eggs, tuna, etc.) So the only thing I can think of is Villafranca Montes de Oca.

Villambistia has a bar and also a drinks vending machine outside. It's next to the albergue.

Thanks everyone for your responses. We are now in San Juan de Ortega and can report that the first place open today was La Taberna in Espinosa del Camino, then a couple of bars in Villafranca Montes de Oca. The “oasis” in the forest about 5km before San Juan de Ortega is also still there, with the possibility to buy drinks and snacks.

We walked that section last week and had breakfast in Espinosa del Camino. Coffee & tortilla if I remember correctly
