Wondering which of the several routes between these two towns is best for cycling. It looks like taking the N-VI would be the least steep, although a little longer than some other routes. I figure we'll be walking our tandem bike a good part of the way no matter which way we go!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Yes. You will. Though the published route should be fine provided your 'stoker' is doing their job ;0)
Unless the herd of cows would come from the opposite direction in that typical Galician dug-in-path ;)

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
I haven't researched alternatives. The N6 goes where you're going by the shortest viable route for a tandem from what I can see on the usual sources. Sometimes the Camino just sets bumps in our way; all we have to do is ride over them.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I rode the N-V1 on this part of the route last year with a few other bikers and it was almost deserted because the A6 runs parallel. Not sure if you can take a bike on the A6 because it is a motorway. Its a long hard climb, I think it took me about 3 hours to get to O'Ceb.

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles

You can ride on them. A's and AP's are forbidden for bike riding/walking/hitchhiking etc.

PS (N in N-V1 stands for National and it's not highway in European meaning.)

Is there a list of albergues that also have private rooms on the Camino Frances? Gracias.

And another attempt looms, to buy a decent Poncho after trying and failing in the previous two likely towns. Anyone know where an Altos or similar might be bought in Leon, please? 😁
