June 2015
Hello, what is the best way to go to Burgos from Barcelona. I am starting my Camino on June 1, the only train avalaible is leaving at 20h20 and arriving at Burgos at 2h15 AM. Maybe i am to early to book the train?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
You decide what is best for you. I have taken both train and bus. Both are good options.
The bus station in Burgos is right in the city but the train station is a little bit more far away (but a walking distance for a pilgrim LOL).
Buen camino :)

Is there some buses to take us in the city center?

Sure, you can take a bus or taxi from the train station to the city (or walk).
The bus station is in the city.
Buen camino.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Falcon, once again I bow to your superior knowledge. Sorry for the mis-information, but the taxi that I was in clocked 7 kms to a place near the cathedral.
I remember because at the time Google maps were still showing the railway station in the city and when I got off the train a long way from the station, I asked the driver in my limited Spanish and he showed me the dashboard reading at the station and when we got to the City centre.

The Renfe train schedule for April shows departures from Barcelona Sants at 9.30, 12.10, 14.10 and 20.10. Sants is a short train journey from Barcelona Airport. All seem to be direct routes (i.e. no transfers) to Burgos.

You should check again in early May for your exact dates, but this should hopefully help with your planning.

Buen Camino!

Yes, you are too early to book your train. In fact, it's even early to look for the schedule because all the trains that will be available on your travel date aren't shown yet on the schedule. Today, in addition to the 20:20 train you quote, the schedule for June 1st shows too the Alvia departing at 12:10 and in some days (only RENFE knows how many days) should show the rest of the trains available. I would suggest to take a look at the web of RENFE in mid-April.

For train schedules, ticket purchase and info, take a look at the web of RENFE:

http://www.renfe.com

The bus route from Barcelona to Burgos is made by Alsa so take a look at their web to look for info about prices, schedules and ticket purchase:

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
This may sound crazy, but there is also an Iberia flight, once a day, several days a week. We took it last year at the end of our walk from Burgos to Barcelona. We paid around $75US, plus a short taxi to the Burgos airport. It was a quick trip and a nice treat to ourselves.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

Here is a pic from 2016, I love the simplicity of the sketch map and directions "1 km climb up, 5km flat, 5km down". I wonder how the prices are now?
Reposted from Wise Pilgrim comments, was hiking with this pilgrim. Don’t follow app,go just a bit further past to well marked turn, not the one with spray painted arrow on stop sign:
