Hello Everyone,
Virgin mobile are currently joining with O2. The result is that Virgin are not currently covering roaming in Spain until the 17th of May, 2023. I was left for days without mobile coverage and had to buy a spanish SIM and rely on my friends for several days. If I had been travelling alone, in the middle of nowhere, I would have been extremely vulnerable.
Please, please check with Virgin before you go.
Buen Camino.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Can you clarify what domestic country you are referring to?
For example I am with Virgin Mobile in Ireland and i would expect that the roaming service would continue as is with no additional charges?

I also haven't seen anything in the media here re O2 & Virgin merging.

I always buy local SIM cards wherever I go. I refuse to pay exorbitant fees to my carrier ... much rather support the local economy.
