Hi
We are arriving at Biarritz airport from London Gatwick 6th May 2023 at 09.15 and looking to share a ride to St Jean Pied De Port.
Any advice appreciated.

€60,-
I always use Express Bourricot. They are convenient, always on time, very courteous. The more riders, the lower the cost. I think I paid 19 euro each time but that always came with a full load of 8 people. They drop you right smack in teh middle of SJPP. Check them out.

Thanks I will check

A guide to speaking Spanish on the Camino - enrich your pilgrim experience.
Or, if they are booked out, use the busservice from Biarritz to Bayonne station and take the train.

It's fun to meet all the upcoming and experienced pilgrims on the train.

Bus no. 4 takes you in about 35 min. from the airport to railway station (SNCF) Bayonne for just 1€.
The train ticket from Bayonne costs you that very day 5€ only (for whatever reason 🤷🏻‍♂️. Normally it’s at 10,70€).

Thanks for the info, I am flying in on the 2nd May and looking forward to catching the bus and train to SJPP.

I agree it would be nice to travel by train especially as we rly in quite early so time is not a problem.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Thanks that’s great. Do I have to Pre book or can I buy the ticket at the station ?
You can buy it at the station. Ticket vending machines if the sales counter is closed. There is no reservation system for the TER trains - just turn up and buy a ticket on the day.
