On the forth day of my Camino from Lisbon by bicycle, that is today, I got a flat. Whilst changing it I realised that the tyre is frayed and needs changing ASAP. I managed to pootle on till Ansião where I was booked to stay but since it's a holiday here everywhere is closed! Can someone tell me the names of some bike shops in the area from where I can change my tyres. My next stop is Coimbra and was also thinking of getting a taxi there, bike and all, but would rather solve the problem and cycle to Coimbra! Any help would be appreciated!!
Thanks

Check out this list of bike shops from Pedal Portugal.
Hope you find a spot nearby that's open!

This is the central way (Caminho Central: Lisboa-Coimbra-Porto-Santiago)), is not the way interior (Caminho Interior: Viseu to Santiago).

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-

Take the wheel off the bike, take a bus, taxi or hitchike to the nearest bike shop. You may have to stay where you are for a few days. This is not a set back, it's what we cyclists like to call, "all part of the adventure". Chances are if one tire is shot, the other may well be on it's way out. When you get the one tire fixed and put it back on the bike, ride straight away for the bike shop and have them check the other tire.
Good luck and keep the rubber side down.

I managed to cycle to Chão de Cause from Ansião to a lovely repair shop called Verissimo who sold me a new tyre, put it on and set the gears etc all for €10. Back on the road from there and rejoined the trail at Zambujal. No set back...still on track!
