Things have been quiet here at the Book Club! I've consulted with a couple of active participants to consider book selection, and we've made some executive decisions. All the books suggested below are available as both e-books and as paper versions.

We have had two books of fiction and propose to have two more. I haven't read either, but plan to do so.
3.3 The Roland Medals, by Maureen Cashman - Discussion thread to start in mid-October
3.4 Two Steps Forward, by Graeme Simsion and Anne Buist - Discussion thread to start in mid-November

Then for Round 4, we're going big with some classic books on Iberia and on pilgrimage. You might want to put these on your Christmas lists.
4.1 Pilgrimage by Jonathan Sumption - Discussion to start in early January 2022
4.2 Journey to Portugal, by Jose Saramago - available on Kindle - Discussion to start in early February 2022
4.3 Iberia by James Michener (excluding the chapter on bulls) - Discussion to start early March 2022

Of course, in the spirit of the forum, anyone can always post a thread about a camino book. I am just trying to coordinate some reading for fun, without structuring things too much or too little.

Feel free to comment on the process or the schedule.

Now I'm off to order some books (if I can't find them in my local library).

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
