Hi all,

I am at Villafranca right now and heading near Burgos to stay there for a 2 day rest. Is there hostel in Burgos who let you stay for two days without leaving in the morning and come back later? Or is an hotel the better option what i think is expensive..

Personally, I would go for a hotel, or pensión. Even if you can stay 2 nights in an albergue they will want you up and out in the morning so that they can clean. You'll get a much better rest in your own room.

I recommend Hotel Norte Y Londres ph 947264125. I stayed there on two different Caminos a year apart. Well priced, nice place, close to the centre, but quiet. You get a bath, an actual deep, lie in it and keep heating up the water bath. Good breakfasts. And a lift.

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
Try airbnb seen apatment near catherdral beside albergue cheap

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
Hotel Meson del Cid. Directly across from the Cathedral on the Camino route. A wonderful 2 day rest location. If you have the inclination, check out the Museum of Human Evolution after a Cathedral tour.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

You can always to to the 5 euro one for one night and then shift to another albergue the next night. Or... get a hotel room one night, sleep in, and then move to the 5 euro place for the next.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
I stayed two nights in Burgos the first time, and also two nights in Leon. Both wonderful cities. But it is weird in the morning, I couldn't help waking up early, and then listening to the pilgrims leaving.
But it was nice sleeping in sheets, and a really comfy bed and pillow. I felt like I was a naughty child playing hooky.

I just booked at Puerta de Burgos for 2 days. Arrived early and must wait now till 14.00. Now wandering thru Burgos. Cant wait to jump on my bed for two days..
