New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
If you mean Lalín (what seems the most likely option because, AFAIK, there isn't a town or village in Spain called Lilan), the problem, most likely, will be spelling. Monbús (www.monbus.es) has several buses daily from Santiago de Compostela to Lalín.

Thank you very much for your help. Do you need to book a bus ride in advance? I trued with Monbus on line and it was impossible to do so.

I don't know how busy is that route so I can't tell you for sure. You may try to book it in advance once in Santiago de Compostela if you want to have peace of mind (or to give yourself time to look for alternatives if buses were full).

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Ask the tourist info to book the bus for you. The tourist info is almost next door to the pilgrims office in SantiAgo

From the cathedral it is a 20 minutes walk to the Santiago busstation

If you are over 60 years old ask for a ticket with " tercera edad" discount !

Buen camino

Hi, just wanted to share a nice adress for tortilla at Betanzos although there are plenty more here. We had lunch at Bikiño, pilgrim reduction and coffee with aguardiente on the house :)
