Bus from Santiago to Tui?

A guide to speaking Spanish on the Camino - enrich your pilgrim experience.
HI I already replied to you via PM but will post the info here for anyone else who needs it :)

We used the Rede Expressos bus company (http://www.rede-expressos.pt) and took a bus Lisbon-Fatima, where we visited the sancuary and spent the night. Next day we took the bus Fatima-Valenca. In Valenca, we took a cab to Tui, which wasn't too far away, and I think it only took us 15 minutes via motorway.

Lisbon-Fatima took us around 1 hour and cost Euros 9.00
Fatima-Valenca took us around 5 hours and cost Euros 15.00

Forgot cost of taxi ride Valenca-Tui, sorry!

Hope this helps.

Hello peregrinos and peregrinas! I have got the same problem. Is there any bus connection between Santiago and Tui? I could not fint it on alsa website.

Hi,

There's not direct bus connection between Santiago and Tui. The best connection is Santiago-Vigo and Vigo-Tui.

But, I would suggest if possible by train, even with the same connection in Vigo, because by bus is a very long trip.

Buen Camino,
