This bus stops in every little town. This was the schedule last summer so you might check the Artieda bus line for up to date times.

I'm sure you will be ok paying the driver directly.Have some small coins ready.

According to the company website you pay the driver - cash only. 5.45 euro from Roncesvalles. It might be a little less from Zubiri but the website doesn't say so.

don't think there is one. if you are wanting do do that Monday/tomorrow, ill
share a taxi--i can't get a room there so have 2 nights in Pamplona--will taxi back in the am on tues to walk into pamplona
