buying stuff on the road

I am leaving London to pick up the Camino in Lisbon and am wondering if there are items in the stores in Portugal for peregrines... i see lists on here of common items and getting through security on plane it is hard to get things through - like lotions and saline solution... and also things like sleeping bag - rain poncho ! things are so expensive here in london.... thx kim
