Barnealdeko Donejakue Bidea (Basque Country interior)
Hi! I live in Spain and I would love to do the Caminho Nascente as shown on the Alentejo/Ribatejo site. However the problem is that it seems very hot. Like, very hot, even at night time. Doing it now seems unwise, so I would like to plan for next time. What would be the best months to do this route?

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Some photos.

Hi Erromesa.
Like the Via de La Plata, it is recommended to do it in spring, autumn or winter. In summer, they rightly call that area the skillet of Portugal.

I am walking it now in late April / early May and the weather has been great. In the first 14 days (Tavira-Évora), we’ve had two mornings of rain and the rest of the time has been sunny with max temps between 20-28 degrees Celsius.
