The "Adelantado", a Segovia's newspaper, and a group of volunteers are promoting the Camino de San Frutos. This Saint was a 8th century hermit (also known as "the fowler" ) , who is the local saint patron. This started as a program for the reintegration of inmates (which, if you want to know, is kind of a time-honored Camino tradition) and they hope this Camino (77 kms) will attract walkers and pilgrims. There is a webpage, maps, and a glossy online guide. The highlights are the very interesting Pedraza medieval city, the Castilnovo castle and the Duratón National Park.
Seems interesting.
