Camino Frances on Flickr: Fall 2013

Time of past OR future Camino
September - November 2013, Pamplona to Muxia (& beyond!)
Feliz año nuevo, dear peregrinos!

I've just uploaded photos of my 3 months' stay in Spain; pix from the Camino Frances figure prominently: http://www.flickr.com/photos/peripatete/sets/72157639284078845/

Since I took a blog-vacation during my camino, I'm slowly weaving tales & memories from my walk in with other, current stories of my temporary stay in the deep white north: healingpilgrim.com

Buen Camino and ¡Buenas noches!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Beautiful photos!
So many familiar sights!

Did that Emu do a dance for you?

Hi Annie! Really? An EMU? ....and I thought it was an ostrich (did you see the Ostrich-burger pic too?).. how can you tell the difference?!

I would say its an Ostrich, Very nice set of images, A couple of wonky horizons but thats being picky, All nicely exposed and you have a good eye for composition, What camera etc did you use

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Hi Dave,

Thanks very much for your comments, and compliments.

My bets are on the ostrich too ;)

I guess that, depending on the scene I'm trying to capture or the feel of the moment, I occasionally & intuitively lean towards "wonky horizons"... !

Nice portfolio of work, and I see you've been to my neck of the woods (ie Indonesia) and elsewhere. I particularly like your long-legged birds, like ballerinas with outstretched arms & legs.

You switched from Canon to Nikon.. I did the opposite. Sadly, I had to give up my beloved Nikon SLR with lenses filters etc, because I can no longer (post-accident) carry any weight. Even my piddly Canon - a Powershot! - is often too heavy, so I'm not sure what to do next...

But, photography is in my DNA, so I'll snap away with any box that I can manage to lift.. even I only end up with a pinhole camera!

Happy new year,
aj
