I am going to be walking the Camino Ingles with Uncle Bob (who will be 90 next year) in 11 days starting from el Ferrol on 11th June.
We are meeting in Ferrol on the 10th June and will walk to Neda the next day. We've tried to keep the distances down to less than 15km per day but have one day of 16. If we can't make it that far we will call a taxi to take us to Sigüeiro and will return to that spot the next day to continue walking.
I have started booking accommodation as we will be staying in hotels or inns (no albergues) and will use taxis to shuttle us to the path if necessary. We will also have our bags transported.
If anyone would like to join us on this 'slow Camino' please send me a pm for more details. Uncle Bob loves to have a beer at the end of his walk and a nice local meal in the evening, and I am a boring old teetotaller and vegetarian). I think he would welcome some other company on the route!
