Malaga to cordoba
Malaga to Santiago - my second attempt this June 24/14 having failed last June/13 after a week of walking and breaking down in Cordoba - the coolness of Ireland keeps me wondering once again about the heat of Malaga to Cordoba and beyond! Many are questioning my sanity but I have this urge to return and deal head on with all that has been and will be thrown at me - thanks.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Too many caminos to list in the permitted 100 characters!!
Most peregrinos have their sanity questioned - usually with good reason, as we must be mad to keep on returning to the camino - or we're all masochists!
However, it's a madness which doesn't effect anyone else - keeps us fit, and gives us pleasure.
So let's just keep being insane.
I'm off on my own again in ten days on the Camino Ingles  and I'm as bonkers as the rest [my wife assures me] ....

Hi Jim,
Would you be able to start walking earlier and later in the year rather than in summer?
We are also in Ireland and I wouldn't dream of walking during the summer months especially in southern Spain. The Norte and Primitivo might be allright...
We are hoping to start from Almeria early April and I'm already concerned about the temperatures rising by early May..

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc

I think that's a perfect time to start. We would enjoy reading updates from you as you walk, or afterward!

Since the OP hasn't been on the forum since 2016, I'll close this thread and refer you to more recent ones on the Mozarabe forum. Or, feel free to start a new one!
