I have just booked my flight to Porto and will arrive on September 4 and leave on September 22. This allows me time for my walk to Santiago de Compestela, some time in Muxia, and time to explore Porto.

Last year my daughter and I walked from Sarria but I am solo this year and am wondering if there is someone who might be walking about the same time.

Hi Tweedy. I walked from Lisbon last year. To Porto with a companion I met via this forum, and from Porto to Santiago solo. It was a wonderful experience and I am sure you will love it. Hopefully you will be as lucky as I was and meet a great walking companion. I posted to my blog each day which you can access from the link in my signature area below. There are many advocates of this camino on the forum and if you have any specific questions I am sure you will get many answers and lots of encouragement.
