Hello fellow pilgrims,
I'm planning to walk the Primitivo from the end of June to mid-July. Would like to know If the most or all albergues are operating, given COVID. What are is the infrastructure now - back to almost normal? Do hosts check for vaccine passports? Is it normal or reduced occupancy?
I know that things can change before June.
Also, how strenuous is it?

Thank you:)

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

https://www.gronze.com/camino-primitivo probably has the most up-to-date information on Albergues & other accommodations (provided that Pilgrims are helping Gronze with updates).

You'll also find stage information & profiles which will give you an indication of the effort involved.

I've moved this post to the Camino Primitivo pages where you'll find lots of information.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Hi, has anyone walked the Primitivo in mid-October? What was it like? Weather, tracks and accommodation? I plan to walk from Oviedo to Lugo only, then bus to Santiago after. Thanks for your input.
