Hi I am walking the San Salvador & Primitivo commencing Aug. 31, starting from Leon.
Anybody interested in walking some portion with me?
I am 66 years old, male from Canada. Retired science/culinary teacher/instructor.
Have walked ,in the past 6 years (from 2012), approx. 7000 kms of caminos in Spain.
See map attached map, the "heavily coloured" caminos.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Hi Frank, aka @Paco Camino! I would, but you know I snore and I'd never keep up with you anyway. I'm actually looking for a walk, but not until a bit later. I will have a couple of friends with me. It is all rather vague so far.

Fellow members - Frank is good company, and a great walker. He has travelled many paths.

I hope you have an enjoyable walk, Frank, and love and best wishes from down under.

Unfortunately for me, a 2 time pilgrim & 60 yr old Canuck in Slovakia planning my 3rd Camino (Salvador and Primitivo) it’s very short notice. But my intention is to walk 1-2 times a year as long as possible. Please post as I’m interested to know what an autumn Primitivo is like, I have walked the Frances and Norte in March.

As you have walked so many different routes, I am curious to know which one you enjoyed the most and the one that you liked the least. i walked the Primitivo in June and there was such a large crowd of people that you are never on your own.

Hello Jennysa,
As to which one I like the best. They all have their own benefits/draws. Overall, I like them evenly, each having their own surprises, but all give satisfactions. Some are more difficult than others (less infrastructures), but that's to be expected and accepted. The C. del Norte, is one I'd like to do again, as when I did it, it rained 26-26 days out of the 36 days and it was 7-8* colder than normal, as the locals indicated - just one of those "climate Change" things. Perhaps when I complete then all, I'll go back and do the Norte again.

So you've walked the Via Francigena, over two years?
Myself and another fellow are planning to do it from the Italian & Swiss border next year in the fall.
What would be your overall thought about this portion? Any personal thoughts on this section?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

My name is Gay, I’m new to the forum as I’m walking my first Camino, the Camino Ingles beginning the 20th of June 2024 and wondering if there are any AA meetings along that route
