Hi Ray We walked the Sureste in December/January 2018/19. We used the Roxby Mairis guide in conjunction with other sources. One of the most useful tools was the map of the route downloaded via the Gaia app. The Roxby Mairis guide could be confusing in its directions but was mostly useful for accommodation options. The Gaia app was best for finding the route. We didn't carry the guide from the Valencia Association because of its weight but it looked very comprehensive and is probably a very good planning tool - from memory the information was accessible even to non-Spanish speakers or those with rudimentary Spanish. It is an excellent route if you like it quiet and we highly recommend it. There are a number of alternatives you can add on to get to Santiago after you reach Benevente. (We went south on the Plata, then through Portugal, then joined the Sanabres in Spain again.) Hopefully this is of some use to your planning. Pm if you would like to know anything else. Cheers Rireana
