Camping on Camino ingles?

Doing the Camino ingles starting June 22. We are taking a tent, etc and hoping we can do ninja camping. Is it allowed on the Camino ingles?

Hola - wild camping isn't allowed in Spain and the police may move you on. In saying that I've known people who have camped on the route and locals have given their permission. But nowadays there are good albergue options on this route - which have the extra weight of the camping gear?

In my opinion except a few spots along Camino Ingles, the route is almost contiously residential area not very good for pitching tent.
