I‘ll start my second Camino in the beginning of June. Did someone walk the CF around that time last year and could tell me something about the bedsituation?

book ahead or rise early or cross your fingers. the closer to galicia, the more situation the beds become

I want to stay independent so I‘ll leave early (it will be hot during the day anyway) and trust in the camino. Thank you jeffery

I had issues getting a bed on the CF near Galicia in 2017, but had better luck with the xunta albergues on the last week if people were queuing up to get in and if the albergue has 20 beds I’d count the backpacks . Or head out very early in the morning .Buen Camino.

Last June I walked from Leon to Santiago. The weather was rainy almost every day and the number of pilgrims starting in Sarria was way down due to the weather. So we had rain, but no problem finding a place to sleep at night. We usually stayed in smaller places rather than the Brierley towns. And we walked most days until 4 pm without reservations. But I would prefer sunny days, and stopping earlier to get a bed!
