Hello Everyone!
We begin our journey mid June, we plan to walk the Frances to Logranos, then switch to the Primitivo starting in Oviedo.

I have an obsession with choirs, I just adore them. I have been reading about the choir in Lugo, and have it marked down as a must attend (we are planning a rest day there!). Are there any other choirs that you have heard that we should make it a priority to hear?

Thank you!
Tracey

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Hola @mayfly
Sometimes along the Via de la Plata, in out of the way places I came across older women singing folk songs and simple devotional songs together in unison, with or without percussion. They were rehearsing for festivities or singing before mass as the priest processed to the altar. Fuenterroble de Salvatierra was one such place...

...also, international choirs sometimes tour along the Caminos in Spain and other pilgrimage trails in Europe...

On the Camino Portugues in 2019 we heard a group of men walking ahead of us singing in unison. They were a men's choir from Austria walking the Camino together. When we told them we were from Texas, they burst into "The Yellow Rose of Texas". They knew all the words, and we didn't! So we're working on a few song selections for our next Camino...

I've used Duolingo and Babbel, and have started listening to language transfer. But so far, I'm liking Wlingua the best. It presents clear differences between Spanish/Espana and Spanish/Latin...
