Hi guys! I'm in Porto right now and booked into Vila do Conde tomorrow. I have a total of 11 days available for walking or 10 and 1 rest. I'm looking for the best way to spread the coastal mileage evenly. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Vila do Conde to Esposende 20 kms
Esposende to Viano do Castelo 23 kms
Viana to Vila Praia de Âncora 19 kms
Vila de A to Caminha 18 kms or to A Guarda 21 kms
A Guarda to Santa Maria de Oia 15kms
Oia to Bayona 21 kms
Bayona to Vigo 21 kms
Vigo to Cessantes 23 kms
Cessantes to Pontevedra 18 kms
Pontevedra to Caldas de Reis 20 kms
Caldas to Padron 20 kms
Padron to Santiago 24 kms

so you have to hike a little bit more for some days to get in your 10 days plan

Thanks! However yours is 13 days including the walk out of Porto. I'm in Vila de Conde now and have a maximum of 10 more days ahead of me. I'm also considering crossing to the central but I'm not sure. So many options! 😊

More or less what we did. Great route, am out there in June walking some of it from Porto with two small groups and so looking forward to it.

It depends on your pace and average mileage you want to to walk eachday

my adviced stages are those where at the end of each you can stay for the night
and i wrote if you walk a little bit more, you can do it in l0 days

you could walk one day from A Guarda to Baiona 36 km saves one day
