In another thread someone asked how to consecrate their Camino to St Francis.
Well...I don't know about St Francis but...
I translated and adapted the novena from the Virgen del Camino sanctuary in Leon.
I was going to distribute these in my parish as a way of having people accompany me with their prayers. I figure someone might want to make use of it, here in the Forum. Enjoy.

Novena to Our Lady of The Way ("La Virgen El Camino")
In the name of The Father and of The Son and of The Holy Spirit.
Incline your gaze, Virgin of The Way ("Virgen del Camino), to those who bow before your altar.
Look at us with the love with which you look at your son, dead within your arms.
Point to us clearly, the path of your life.
Orient our steps toward God.
Engrave our souls in the path of virtue,
the path of purity and heroic path of love and pain.
Take to heaven the souls of our deceased brothers.
To find the desired happiness in the house of the Father.
Strengthen the sick and console the sorrowing.
plead for the needy and persecuted.
Procure for us, Lady, that one day we see become a reality the peticions wich we have sung many times before your altar.
Show us Jesus, living and glorious, that is our heritage.
<Silent meditation>
Let us greet Mary, with the words of the Angel.
Hail Mary, full of grace.
Daughter of the Father, Mother of the Son and spouse of the Holy Spirit.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed among women, and blessed be those who praise you and love you.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed among all women.
Christ our God was incanated through you, to redeem us.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
Mary, Mother of God.
Pray for us sinners.
Pray for the Pope and the bishops.
Pray for priests.
Pray for Deacons
Pray for the religious.
Pray for the whole Church.
Pray for our family.
Pray for our friends and enemies.
For those who do not believe, hope or love God.
Pray for them.
Pray for us sinners.
Pray for all Pilgrims
Now and at the hour of our death.
First reading:
"All ye who walk through The Way.
See if there is any sorrow like mine" (Lamentations 1:12).
Oh, Virgin of The Way.
Our Queen and Mother.
Show us alive and glorious Jesus
that is our heritage.
Second reading:
The child’s father and mother marveled at what was said about him.
Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother:
“This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel,
and to be a sign that will be spoken against,
so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed.
And a sword will pierce your own soul too.” Luke 2:33-35
Oh God, in whose Passion, according to the prophecy of Simeon, the most sweet soul of the glorious Virgin Mary was pierced by a sword of sorrow. Grant that we who meditate with reverence in these, can get the happy effect of your passion.
Amen.
