Cost of private rooms on the CP?

Does anyone have recent experience to provide a rough estimate for the price of a private twin room on the Senda Litoral or Variante Spiritual?

I kept a record of my walk on the CP earlier this year from Valenca, and posted the results here. In most places, the cost for two people was double that for one, but I wasn't checking that consistently.

I just completed booking private rooms, mostly in Hotels. It is possible to travel a cheaper by booking more private rooms in albergues. My total was an average of just under $50 a day. Most of these rooms were double, though there may have been a slight discount on a few for a single occupancy.

You don’t say what type of accommodation you’re looking for, but I’d just like to recommend a couple of places (for your consideration) from my very recent experience: Quinta de Quinhas (Vila Praia de Âncora) £56; Monumento Convento de Santo Benito (A Guarda) £56; Hostel Charino (Pontevedra) £26; Os Lambras (outside Padron) £86 (all approx sterling prices). All included wonderful breakfasts. All were private double rooms (although Quinta also offers shared/dorms) except Charino which was a shared room. I know these may be more pricey than some would consider, but they were all really excellent.

J2 : Vila do conde : Pousada Juventude ( 56 E, chambre pour 2 personnes)
J4 et 5 : Viana do Castelo : Avenisa ( 50 E). avec cuisine. Très central.
J6 : Vila Praia de Ancora : GH Baixinho ( 48E). Très central, cuisine et salon
J7 : A Guarda : Monesterio Convento de San Benito *** ( 49 E) inclus super petit déjeuner. jardin. Gros coup de coeur. Très central.
J8 et 9 : Oia : Cala Pilgrim Inn ( 30 E) pour chambre non partagée. Pas de salle de bain privative. Cuisine.
J10 : Baiona : Pension O Escondidino ( 35 E), jardin. sur le camino et à 8 minutes du Centre.
J12 : Redondela : A darsena do frances ( 55 E). Cher car chambre très petite mais moderne. Très central.
Variante
J14 : Combarro : Auberge albergue nuestra senora del camino. Super Hôte : Carmen. dortoir : 20 E. chambre aussi. cuisine.
J15 : A Armenteria : Monesterio ( 40E). Seulement 8 chambres pour les pèlerins. pas toujours ouvert.
J17 : A Escravitude ( un peu avant) : Casa da Meixida *** ( 60 E) avec super petit déjeuner. VU qu'un peu à l'écart, l'hôte offre un souper traiteur ( son restaurant) pour 21 E. Super jardin et maison centenaire. Un gros coup de coeur.

D8 and 9 : Oia : Cala Pilgrim Inn ( 30 E) for non shared room. No private bathroom. Kitchen.
Day 10: Baiona: Pension O Escondidino ( 35 E), garden. On the Camino and 8 minutes from the centre.
D12 : Redondela : A darsena do frances ( 55 E). Expensive as the room is very small but modern. Very central.
Alternative
Day 14 : Combarro : Auberge albergue nuestra senora del camino. Super host : Carmen. dormitory : 20 E. room also. kitchen.
D15 : In Armenteria : Monesterio ( 40E). Only 8 rooms for pilgrims. not always open.
Day 17: In Escravitude (a little earlier): Casa da Meixida *** ( 60 E) with great breakfast. A little further away, the host offers a catered dinner (his restaurant) for 21 E. Superb garden and century-old house. A real favourite.
