As most of you will recognise before leaving....I'm getting more restless every day from now on!
It's only three weeks before I'll leave to do the Camino del Norte together with my wife Hanneke. After our first Camino in 2005 (CF) we decided to take the Route Norte starting at the bridge Irun-Hendaya.
First flying to Valladolid at May 10th , train to Irun and ....off we go....On the Road Again !

I will try to report here some "usefull' information as well as pictures..... as the forum-section here of Camino del Norte is not too crowded with messages!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Hi there Paulus,

Thanks for helping out. Yes, it would be nice to get some updates and useful info on el camino del norte. As you say, there is not too much info on this route in this forum yet.

Buen Camino,
Ivar

if you want to include the Pont St Jacques, you're better stopping on the train to Hendaye and then walking back over the border to Irun. It's only a short distance from Hendaye station to the border.

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

Peter,

Thanks for the tip! I already thought about that to avoid that I'll have to walk back to the bridge in the morning.
I will certainly want to walk the bridge from one side to the other! Maybe I'll post nice picture(s) of the bridge!

It's always nice to get some nice reply's on a message........!

Paul (who is not taking his saxophone with him on the road....)

Sil,

Thanks!
I did already found them all......... but it is always nice to get some info on that Route!

Paul
