Re: Via Francigena from Canterbury to Rome

Gratzie Giorgio!

I read about her blog on the iL Movimento Lento newsletter:
http://www.itineraria.eu/newsletter/11-10.html

Cristina has crossed the Alps Saturday, August 14 and began her journey along the Italian section of ViaFrancigena. Cold wind , rain and fatigue have not dampened our pilgrim

Does anyone know if there’s a direct bus from Lucca to San Miniato? Or is the best option to take the train from Lucca to San Miniato Basso-Fucecchio via Pisa and then bus to San Miniato Alto? Thanks!
