Daily distances below 15km

walking every day for the rest of my life
Disclaimer: I know I could look up all the different routes on Gronze....

But I'm just wondering if anyone knows off the top of their head if there are any routes other than the Frances on which you can do fewer than 15km every day and find inexpensive accommodations.

Distance-wise between sleeps there's the Portuguese Coastal, and the Portuguese generally in the last 100K to 150K -- but the Coastal could potentially be outside of your inexpensive criterion, depending exactly what that word means here.

But if it means anything up to normal private Albergue prices, then the Coastal is fine -- also very flat, so that distance-limited pilgrims can frequently do better distances than they're used to.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
I’m pretty sure you could do this on the Portuguese. I just did it in April and I don’t feel like there were any really long stretches. With careful planning and research it can probably be done.
That would be my recommendation, too.
I've done partly coastal, partly central and never paid more than 15€ per night.

You can do it on the Ingles as well. It just takes a bit more planning, and some days you may need to take a taxi or backtrack a bit to reach your accommodation but it's certainly possible.

What is your criteria for "inexpensive." Will you be travelling alone or sharing a room?

I've begun doing research on the Norte from Gijon. In terms of distance, it appears that it's possible to keep the distance of stages under 15km, except for a few stages after Ribadeo. From Walls of Nalon, my route would average 11.5km over 10 days. I'm not sure how expensive the accommodations are in some towns.

As you mentioned, check out Gronze. Good luck

Correction to my last post: My route would average 11.5km from Walls of Nalon to Ribadeo!!!!
