Did I just think of a brilliant way to never lose my walking poles again?

Sacha

Peregrina
Time of past OR future Camino
05/24 C. Portugues

As I was printing out two stickers with my name and phone number to stick onto my poles I see my keys lying next to them.. with an Airtag. šŸ’”!

Iā€™m sure I am not the only one who constantly forgets her polesā€¦ right? LOL

Never again! Well atleast Iā€™ll get a reminder from my phone 100 meters away from my poles now.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
That is pretty good - but check the airtag periodically - they do fall out of their holders. I have them fall out of a variety of airtag holders. You could also skip the heavier keychain and secure them with duct tape if you wanted to to keep them attached longer.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Iā€™ve had mine for a year and never fell out. I got the leather version, maybe its different?

Love my my airtag! Has saved me a couple times when my keys mysteriously vanishedā€¦. (My little gremlins love to hide my things lol)

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I used an AirTag on my poles this year - on the Camino PortuguĆ©s. Only left them behind once, but could see exACTly where they were & retrieved them right away! No more guessing, ā€œwhere did I leave them?!?ā€ Worked like a charm šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘

Thank you!
I lost mine some years ago in a bar and I was very attached to them. Iā€™m just trying to decide on a pair of small folding ones that collapse to 16ā€ which can go in my rucksack and as they are expensive, Iā€™ll follow your suggestion and put an AirTag on the wrist band.

Ideal pocket guides for during and after your Camino. Each weighs just 40g (1.4 oz).

Hi all! I know shoes are discussed quite a bit here but I have a last minute question as I head out on the Camino Frances next Sunday. I have a weaker ankle so I purchase the Oboz Sapphire Mid...
I stopped in the pilgrim store ArmerĆa Castro.Deportes y Tienda del peregrino today, and they carry bags of wool to use on your feet. https://maps.app.goo.gl/Zb8fM4AK2qyCuGYt6?g_st=ac
Anyone had any experience with getting collapsible (fold up) poles through airport security checkpoints in carryon baggage. In particular when exiting Australia and Spain?
