I already have the credential, but do you have to "register" in the Pilgrim Office before starting? Will the first stamp be alright from the first albergue??
Thank you for all the advice Peregrinos..Xxx

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
You do not have to register, first stamp will be ok. And all stamps or sellos are ok , not only from Albergues : shops, churches, townhalls are also ok. And to receive your Compostela only the last 100 k. " count" anyway. But the sellos are a beautiful reminder of one's Camino.

If you register then it will aid in the stats for the year.
As well that is where you can get a shell to attach to your bag.

Hello,

You will not have to register or visit the office if it doesn't suit you. The first stamp at your refugio will suffice.

However, the staff there is full of information which might assist you especially if the weather looks to be anything but sunny, clear. While it might look like a great walking day down below in SJPdP, it still could be fairly harsh as one climbs higher and higher. The staff is extremely kind.

You go soon?
