I noticed that the conversion rate is $1.32 per euro. It was $1.61 in July when I was there. Big difference. Maybe if it keeps lowering it will make it more affordable for more Americans. One thing to always consider, by the way, is the extra that the banks and credit cards tack on for the service of converting money for you. That raises the cost significantly.
