Time of past OR future Camino
2014, 2016
I did the Camino Frances by myself in 2014 and with my granddaughter in 2016. I am planning to do it again with one exception. I am thinking of stopping at Saria and picking up the English Camino to Santiago.

Has anyone done this?
Do you recommend this?
How difficult is it to get to Ferrol?

Any comments would be appreciated.

Best regards,

Prepare for your next Camino on California's Santa Catalina Island, Oct 27 to Nov 2
Do you have time to finish the CF and then walk the Ingles afterwards? That seems more ideal as it would allow you to finish your pilgrimage with those you have met along the way and without having to break the walking pattern with a day of transit and transfers.

If not, then there are three trains a day from Sarria to A Coruña or a bus/train or train/train combination to get to Ferrol. Personally, walking into SDC and then reverse-walking the Ingles sounds better to me.

Yes bus from Santiago takes 1 hour 20 minutes and is less than 10 Euros to Ferrol.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Monbus is the operator from Santiago bus station to Ferrol, you'll get the times on their site. They didn't seem to accept an online booking but there was no trouble on the 6pm one recently. 8.10 euro, 1.5hrs.

Thanks for the info. I have the time, just thinking about a different path!
