My husband and I are planning on starting out from London in May 2022 and walking to Lausanne after which we are going to R&R for a few days before coming home. Has anyone ever shipped extra luggage from London to Lausanne and stored for the weeks that it will take to walk the distance?

If you have a lodging reservation in Lausanne, one thought would be to contact them and ask if they might store your luggage. I realize that there is a large time gap before you'd arrive, but I would be inclined to ask.
