Too many and too often!
FICS has started the process of applying for UNESCO recognition of "traditional Jacobean hospitality" as Intangible Cultural Heritage. By this they mean albergues run "by volunteers, in the hostels where it is carried out without profit". Something which they argue is a unique feature of the Caminos in need of protection and preservation.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Thank you!

A worthy entry I believe.

For more info about Intangible Cultural Heritage see this link.

Great idea, though it's not unique to the Jacobean Ways, but on the Roman ones too, and increasingly the Fátima Ways too (won't count Lourdes, as that has been on a Via Romea since hundreds of years before the Camino even existed, and it's on that too).
