After having enjoyed participating all the Forum input/output, comments, advice, etc., it's now our turn to start the Camino. We leave here( Costa Rica) tomorrow afternoon, so will arrive in Roncevalles on Tuesday evening, just in time for the Pilgrim Mass. We start walking Wednesday morning - slowly. We have done the Camino Frances before, so we are not in a rush and will try, whenever possible, to stay in the lesser known villages. I would like to say how much I have enjoyed participating on this Forum, and hope to meet some of you along the Way. Rebekkah: we will certainly drop in at your Peaceable Kingdom, as we pass through Morotinos! Ivar: we will pass by your office in Santiago (se Dios quiere)! Please look our for a grey haired couple, with a couple of small badges saying Costa Rica sewn on our packs (no national flag, but a couple of dolphins embroidered on the badge )! We hope to arrive in Santiago around 20/21st October, but at least in time to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary with Mass on the 24th in the Cathedral. Anne & Adriaan

Go well, Anne and Adriaan.
God bless, and congratulations on 45 years marriage!
Buen Camino

Hi Anne and Adrian

Happy Ruby Anniversary to you both for the 24/10 - my beloved ( who can't walk el camino because his ankles probably wouldn't get him as far as Hunto) and I share your anniversary - though ours is a mere 34 years :D

We shall be arriving SJPdP the morning you leave. We're not walking immediately, and we are going to be slow, but it would be good to spot your dolphins :)

Buen Camino

What a great way to celebrate your anniversary! Would that all could share in this same kind of celebration. May God protect you from all harm, strengthen your bodies that they perform well, and may you sense His presence in every step. He lives and I believe that He rejoices in your choice to begin a pilgrimage.

Bon Chemin,

Michael

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
“May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And may God hold you in the hollow of his hand.”
Buen Camino.

Thank you, thank you all for your good wishes. Maybe Chinacat, we might just see each other along the Way. Anne
