Got up early in hopes of getting a jump on the sun only to find the farmhouse owners had unexpectedly prepared a huge breakfast for me. I couldn't say no and left later than planned.
Today I walked through miles of corn and sunflower fields and stopped to enjoy a mass in Italian in a small village church along the way.
I made it to Fidenza by afternoon, did laundry, ate dinner and off to bed because tomorrow I have a long day to Fornovo d'taro
Today ends day 60 and puts me beyond the 800 mile mark.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
How is it compared with 2 years ago. Are you able to enjoy it more with less worries about finding the route?

Oh wow Bob...my dream is to see fields of sunflowers! 🌻 But I tend to walk in spring/early summer so I'm generally too early.
That sure was a hearty breakfast; a great way to kick off your walking day without being weighed down with stodgy food.
At Day 60, you're making good time.
