Too many and too often!
A piece of news just cropped up in my Facebook feed. Foncebadon and Rabanal have just had their first snowfall of the year. Apparently it was 0C in Foncebadon a few minutes ago. Time to wrap up well! Thanks to Paul and Adriano for the news.

Hola @Bradypus Thanks for the weather update. Not at all surprised given the altitude of those locations. A note to any pilgrims leaving Leon for the coast, make sure you have the proper cold weather gear. Buen Camino

I walked into Rabanal last night. The wind driven sleet and snow was brutal. Currently 0545 and the rain is pouring down.

Well snow tends to freak out people that don't live or come from snowy climates. Having to deal with snow 6 months a year in northern Alberta it isn't a big deal.
Much easier to dress for and deal with in my opinion than super hot +38 C conditions.

My 2 Canadian fellow walkers wisely took a taxi.
