First Time Pilgrimage in September 2012

Greetings! I am planning a pilgrimage with my best friend in September or possibly October of 2012. We are both 60+ women from California who will be spending the next months getting in shape. Our biggest concern is the weather as neither of us likes hiking in the heat.

I have been reading this forum and want to thank everyone for your very helpful posts. I know that this will be a continual source of information as we plan our trip.

I plan to walk my first pilgrimage in either May or Sept 2012 for the good weather that's been recommended on the forum. If I walk in Sept, hope to see you on the trails. I'm from Sacramento, CA. -Hieu
